haha! I just tried this. I successfully got the bars higher and just before celebrating, I sat on the bike and both levers moved...

I did some Internet searching (something I should have done long ago) and learned that despite the name, we are not comparing the same bars...

78mm reach
146mm drop


64 giro original specs (from velobase)
26.4mm clamp
82.5mm reach
110mm drop

The picture on velobase doesn't seem to have the large flat section right where I am trying to place the ergo lever.
