Funny story about this:
One day me, my wife and both her parents had gone for a nice walk in the countryside and we sat down at a local "terraske" afterwards ... one of which we knew had over a hundred types of nice local beers (Belgium alone has over 1000 so that isn't even that much).
We all like a nice beer and for some reason my father-in-law ordered a "Westvleteren" and for some reason we all said: "Oh ... I'll have one of those as well".
We drank it and, as we're all very used to prime trappistenbier we weren't even impressed by the taste but simply called it "pretty good".
At the end the waiter came with the bill and it was 32€ (about $50 at the time) for just 4 beers!
We all acted as if we thought we knew it was that expensive and payed the bill like we were used to pay that much
There was a limited Ontario release of Westvleteren, $72 CAN for a six pack
