I wouldn't want to carry a NYF in my back pocket, personally. A regular Mini is heavy enough. A belt holster like this makes it easier to haul heavy u-locks if you don't mind spending an extra $10.

edit- Also the back pocket carry is going to wear on your pockets and saddles, if you care about that.
