Gene's comments about Kearny Villa Road are spot-on. Those of us who ride bicycles in San Diego County need to work with city government now to make this road safer. Perhaps the deaths of two truly fine gentlemen within four years will convince our leaders to reduce the speed limit, and I certainly would welcome radical traffic-calming (e.g., a conventional right-angle intersection) at the ramps to highway 163.
