Think about this for a moment... many cars are really quite overpowered for what they have to do... Concerning pickup trucks' horsepower, they too are overpowered. While in town visiting his relatives, my friend took me for a ride in his new fully equipped pickup, the thing would beat the pants off of his older, much lighter, spartan equipped interior 60's muscle car with ease and in full interior comfort.
