I think that is really solid advise. I've had good luck with Tifosi's. My wife gave me a pair of Oakley Race Jackets for Christmas. They are really nice, and I like them a lot. But, I personally would never pay retail for a set of glasses like that. Like TR said, law of diminishing returns really kicks in above ~$150 unless maybe you're dealing with prescriptions. I can't comment on those.
