On a walk to the grocery store a couple of minutes ago, I witnessed what I presume would have been a fairly spectacular bicycle-on-bicycle collision.

Cyclist A was traveling south on a one-way street, against traffic. I'm guessing he was cruising along at 12- 15 mph. No hands on the handlebars.

Cyclist B was eastbound and really moving (15-20 mph, I'd guess), when he blew the stop sign.

They missed each other in the middle of the intersection by just inches.

On the way home from the store, I tried to imagine how they'd each try to place the blame on each other, had they made contact.
