Saved from the Dumpster at Steet Level Cycles Berkeley ca 1972 Mercier

I was passing by the Street Level Cycles workshop and spied the pretty Lugs on a vintage Bike beckoning me from the sheet metal dumpster in front. I like her and brought her home setting her up to enjoy the beauty through the patina. The Brilliant blue was trying to shine through the badly flaking clear coat that is taking some of the decals as it flakes off. I am not sure why it was thrown out perhaps because of the rusty crank set. It has a 1973 City of San Francisco license remaining. Pitty it is too large for me! 60cm. Still I collect the missing bits and get it going in any case.
