I've ridden to work before, but never to actually go to work. I've test ridden the distance, and done it recreationally. I've spent plenty of time running errands around town on my bike, but it's not really commuting if I don't go to work, is it? I feel pleenty prepared, the odometer on my bike shows 714.0 miles so far this year, so it's not like I haven't gotten any practice, but this is the first time I'll actually be commuting by bike.

I brought the bike in on the back of a car this morning. It's leaning agaisnt my cubicle wall. At 6:00, when I leave, I've got about 20 miles to ride home (or more like 16 if I take the short, but traffic-filled way).
