I went to a top flight private university from 86-90 and tuition went from 11k to 15k while I was there.... now the same school is about 41k for tuition, 55k all in.

My kids won't get jack for help from the state or feds and there's no reasonable way to expect them to pay 300k for college. (which is what it is projected to be when they go. Yikes! is it worth it? Really?)

We're going to have to get creative.
