Sept 17th, Casco Bay Fryeberg Frolic Century (might be too chilly up there)

Sept 18th also has the Fall Harvest Ride put on by the Connecticut Sound Cyclists. BTW: It will rain on Sept 18th - it always does. That ride or the CRW Fall Century - undecided.

Sept 24th, The MS Down the Sound Tour on CT's shoreline.

Sept 25th, GSW Seacoast Century in New Hampshire (I'm preregistered for Sunday -see you there?)

October rides, including Major Taylor and GRR all depend on the weather. I had cycled the MS Mt Greylock Century one Fall, and the wet leaves and the road conditiond were too dangerous. The last time that I did GRR, it was sleeting on the high elevations and I almost suffered hypothermia, climbing to Peru. Thank goodness for hot baked potatoes. Yes, I think that my life was saved by a friggin' baked potatoe... who would of thunk it?

Where is that ride in RI? My riding partner for the season moved last week so I wont be riding with anyone anymore. I heard from my LBS that there were going to be some fall centuries in RI, but I didnt get any more information when I was at the shop the other day. I still have to hit my goal of a metric before I think about a 100 mile ride (I could have completed one, but it was too hot when I tried and only hit 56.5 miles). I would consider checking it out though, and see how things go.
