I don't know how these compare but I built a bike up with WTB dirt drops and have to echo Frank's advice to set them up real high. You want to be in the drops pretty much all the time with these. The hoods were at about 38cm on mind and my shoulder joints are about 44cm apart... so it wasn't very comfortable to be anywhere up top. I tried them on a touring bike where more hand positions are better. I think they might work well for fast cross country mountain bikes... like the singulars.
Yeah, I like the Swift, Gryphon and now the Buzzard.
They all look like they have 29er wheelsets in common and plenty of head tube to sit a little more upright.
