I'm looking for a bike for a lady friend and came across this sweet 1988 Bertoni Italamerica. Is $450 a fair price? Honestly I think its outside her price range but it still looks like a great bike.

I have a spectacular Bertoni Italamerica equipped with Shimano 105 gruppo and Mavic MA40 rims. The frame is approximately 48cm and built in Italy with Columbus Matrix tubing. It is believed to have been built under contract at the Bianchi factory by bike importer Ben Lawee who brought them to the U.S.
The bike was originally purchased at I. Martin Imports in Beverly Hills around 1988 and has been ridden very little. The light purple mist paint job is in excellent condition and shifts, brakes and pedals smoothly. The handlebars are 3TTT and the bar tape is original. The bike is original and both tires have been replaced but are not shown in the pictures. The bike only comes with a bike computer; no pedals are included. The standover height is approximately 29".
