I have been hit by a car while riding my bike. The latest accident was in May of 2012. Prior to that, was in 2007. Before that was back in 1997, and before that was in 1981.

None of those accidents have sent me to the hospital.

Despite all the accidents, my spirit about wanting to ride my bike, has never dampened. Even my parents' have given up trying to convince me not to ride a bike.

I can sort of see a motorist being that diehard.

To borrow the title of a song from the 1980's Huey Lewis & The News did a song titled 'I Want A New Drug'. My 'drug' is cycling.
