Simply put, longer chainstays means your whole bike will track straighter with each pedal stroke, which will have you make fewer trajectory ajustments over the same distance.

Ride both, and choose really. If your style is spinning and your stroke is smooth (gosh ....), any weight shift will be smaller. On the other end, a masher would probably like long chainstays.
