Cheaper Square Tapper Compact Crank Alternative
After continually being humbled on my local bike rides by hills that required me to drop into that 24" size 12 bi-pedal mode - I investigated the benefits of the all powerful compact crank - I did not know if it was going to work and being the cheap guy that I am I made an experimental alternative with available economical components - I have been so satisfied with my combination that I have not bothered to purchase a more prestigious brand name crank in its place...


Sunlite Alloy Double Crankset - 170 x 53/39, Square Taper, Black less than 25$


Sugino 34t 110mm MTB Chainring less than 15$

And don't forget this baby if your like me and you really need some help...


Shimano MF-TZ20 Tourney Freewheel (14-34T 6 Speed) less than 12$
