1. It should, but you should check on the bb shell size (I think that's what it's called) like is it 68mm, is it English threaded, etc. etc.
2. You probably would, as I think most road frames are spaced wider than the usual 120mm for track bikes. My road frame has 126mm rear spacing.
3. I ordered the right BB from Tony at IRO, and a wheelset from him, and his cranks, and my chainline is great. From what I've heard, they're meant to line up pretty darn well. Mine is perfect, and was such an ease to set up.
As long as your measurements on your own frame are known, Tony makes the rest pretty easy.
