I'd be willing to bet that if you put it on eBay with verbiage something like "super rare, custom bicycle part made of Hiduminium (aluminum). You'll definitely never catch one of these around town" and then put a BIN price of $1,900 or something like that, you should be able to get a definitive answer on what it is andalso make some good money on the part.

Something that many here on this forum need to learn is that rarity does not equate to something being worth a 5h|tload of money. Rarity can actually serve to lessen the value of some items because nobody knows of them.
