Well, I guess that's that: it's a great bike in great shape at a great price.

Only problem is it won't be as practical without a rack or fenders. I've heard of other Trek 1000's being installed with these add-ons anyway, usually through clamps, smaller wheels, etc. Would that at all be possible? (I have asked the seller, and--maybe just so he could agree--he said that it was "certainly possible")
