I like that idea of a mid-point stem peg which should make using normal variety stems much easier. We use a fixed length 17degree, 14cm stem and haven't found anything longer with the same or higher angle. With a stem peg, you can start with a "stubby" (short stem) and work up from there. I think it beats using a near 400gm adjustable stoker stem.

No idea what this sucker weighs before or after the headset install. It certainly looks more stout that our previous uncoupled 2007 frame, but looks can be deceiving if they took all the factors of this build into account and tweeked the tube lug areas accordingly. The 1.5" fork-steerer interface is far beefier looking than the pinched look of a standard straight 1.125" setup.
