Sealants tend not to work as well on road bikes as they do on MTBs. The smaller tires on road bikes run a much higher pressures and the sealant may not work because the sealant can't stop air at that pressure from escaping.

If you're running larger tires - 32s, 45s, etc., it might work. If you're running 23s? Forget about it - the only thing the sealant will do for you is make a mess.
