i was stuck behind this guy for like 3 miles on a one lane street, not only was he going incredibly slow but every 100 feet he would look back to see if i was still there, friggin weirdo.
I'm probably alone on this but - ghetto frankenbikes like this aren't really "jackass" to me in the spirit of this thread.
Ugly? Yes.
Ridiculous? You bet.
But there's something strangely utilitarian about riding something like that. I don't know
why but it seems a lot more forgivable than an aerospoke on a MB or sawed off carbon fiber drops on a street bike.
I wouldn't be caught dead on something like that - but for some reason I can picture someone like my out of touch father doing something like this. He's a jack of all trades but knows nothing about bikes and I can totally imagine him pulling something like this out of his workshop and saying "check
this out!"
Who knows, maybe I'm just in a good mood today.
