The only way for a rotor to get warped is to take a hit from something. And it shouldn't have taken long to tweak it back. I've used an adjustable wrench to true a rotor that took a hit at a polo match and it only took about a minute. Again,for some reason many mechanics don't seem to know what to do with discs.
