On ebay active "on offer for" is a poor judge of the actual transaction prices.
As others have mentioned, it is the price actually sold that is of value and ebay is becoming frustrating in referencing that.

An item that was offered at "buy it now or best offer" when sold will either show the original offer price, not the true sale price and you have to click back through to the original auction page to find the sales price OR... the original offer price will show green as being sold but also will show struck out, the final sales price is cloaked to those referencing.
