I was thinking this very thing this morning, about the valve stem nut, going to check the tightness there - My other bike doesn´t even have a nut on the Presta stem on it so I guessed it wasnt too important.

EDIT - Sorry, have re-read what you said, and talking at cross purposes here - I thought you mean´t the nut that holds the value to the rim, this is what one of my other bikes doesn´t have.
