I have a Saab 900 classic in scarabee green and a 9000 Anniversary. I own the first since 1999 and the 2nd is in the family since new, now 16 years ago. Both prooved to be very troublefree. The Mercedes w124 from before the 9000 was good too. The last proper Mercedes if you ask me. The Saabs are more practical with the large 3th/5th door.

For me it is Saab. In case I for some kind of reason would not be allowed to buy Saab anymore I would consider a Subaru Outback or a 5-series touring in case of modernish cars or an older Volvo or Merc.
