I was referring to the climb because some people thought that was where Cancellara turned on the "motor" due to the speed at which he dropped Boonen and supposed "unusual hand movements". They were in fact both going slower than others in the chase group. Gilbert was behind, but still on the podium.

JYL is correct, but apparently you didn't respect his point of view from an economic basis and found it comical.
Gilgert is either the way his name was pronounced and spelled 100 years ago or it's a typo, you figure it out.. Don't know how fast the chase group was but it obviously wasn't fast enough to catch either of them, this in spite of those two not having anyone to work with after they separated. Call it a motor or whatever you want to, some would call it a big can of whup ass.
