Anyone know of the axfs model hardrock???

I bought this bike I think about 1997 or so and Its been a great bike with minimal breakage. Replaced things here and there mostly tires, brake pad's and an occasional rim. It came with shimano components that say only "A" on them. and Its time to replace them I was thinking of going with XT or XTR components all around. Was also wondering if this frame supports rear disc brakes? I know if I change the fork (wich I plan on...It has a crummy original rockshock fork on it) and the front rim I can put a front disc brake on it. On the back of the frame it has two holes on the opposite side of the derailer that look kind of like disc brake mounts but I'm not sure. This is the aluminum specialized hardrock ax fs frame polished in 20 inch I love this bike and want to make it nice so any Ideas would be appreciated
thanks.
