Each person rides under different circumstances, so there probably won't be a singular way of riding which would fit everyone. I can't hug the curve where I ride because I will definitely be hit by a car. I do however try to make drivers' lives easier whenever I can by letting them pass on narrow roads and lanes, BUT I control the situation because my life is on the line. So far the majority of drivers react predictably and polite because they understand and acknowledge my effort not to delay them, and in the case of the few that don't... as long as I'm operating within the law, tough.
