it's a cork wrap... the LBS didn't have a gel type wrap...
My hand doesn't go numb when I ride the tops, only when riding the hoods.
I think I'll try new hood covers, too- the ones that are on them now seem like they're just beeswax melted over the brakes. Do they come with gel inserts, or do I get to invent something?
