Bikes: Still a garage full

What's your excuse for letting project bikes stack up?

Since the beginning of the year, I've bought nine bikes, 2 for my fleet, and 7 to flip. Like several other contributors on this Forum, I have more than a garage full of flip candidates and other fleet projects. Below is my excuse for letting these projects languish.

Maybe because it's winter, I've been focusing on a different kind of tubing and wrenching, but good for my health as well. I moved in November to my 1924 duplex and February has been unofficial "plumbing month." I just finished with the major repiping, ripping out the galvanized pipe and replacing it with new copper. It consumed close to 160' of copper, a new water heater, toilet, sink, 13 new valves, and a bucket of fittings. It's nice to have a Famous Hardware Store with great service and inventory within walking distance.

Any BF member owning an old home, I highly recommend the upgrade, so you can "Drink to Good Health!" At least, drain your water heater and replace the anode rod.

Hopefully, soon I will be in full swing on the bike repair stand as I just ordered a bunch of parts!
