I currently have a 2005 Giant Rincon and am looking to get something a little more geared to the road. I am a very large male @ 6'8", 325 lbs. So I know that the traditional road bike is probably not for me, especially since I am not willing to drop a few grand on a road bike that can take my size and weight. Especially since I had to replace the bottom bracket and crank set on the Rincon because of my size. But I digress...

I think these Hybrid bikes might be just the thing for me because of my size. I have been looking at a few bikes and would like any helpful opinions on them. The three bikes are:

1. DiamondBack Trace
2. Giant Seek 3
3. Trek 7.2 FX Disc

I would like a bike around the 500 dollar mark, give or take a hundred or so dollars. I have a feeling that the first response will be to stay away from the Trace, but I love the price tag! I do however know that "you get what you pay for." Also, if there are any other specific bikes that fall into this catagory and price point, let me know about them too. I will go on and say a big thanks to any help I can get on the matter.
