Bikes: No bike yet, I just discovered this site.

OP, I too am a big guy and recently purchased a Cannondale Quick 6 and a Mavic Askium rear wheel. The real wheel upgrade cost me $100, but I know for sure that will not have any issues with it, plus the Cannondale looks like it has a lower MSRP than the bikes you are currently looking at, so the total cost wouldn't be much (if any) more than the three you linked to. I am not sure if any of those bikes would need a new wheel or not, but if they did, you would be saving a little by going with the Cannondale.

Truth be told, I would just go to a bike shop and try as many bikes that would work for you, and pick the one that feels the best to you. I have found that it's a bit of a personal preference thing when I was bike shopping. Plus it is a LOT of fun to test drive several bikes.

Good luck with whatever you choose.
