Having a frame with a head tube for tapered forks, isn't an issue if you are trying to put standard ones in, as you just get a reducer.

For the Jake The Snake, if it's a 2013 model and you are looking to do a major upgrade, you probably have the wrong bike, ride it for a while to see what is really wrong with the stock fork.
