It's 1:30am in toronto and I'm eating shake and bake chicken with some rice and vegetables in the dark. Why? Because the power has been on and off about 15 times all this afternoon. It was supposed to be a crazy winter storm with either heavy sleet or heavy snow.

We just had a huge snowstorm a couple weeks ago that dropped 40cms. But that was nice fluffy stuff. This one is supposed to be nasty. I guess I'll find out in the morning.

The funny part is that everytime I hear the power go out I hear a boom down the street then an alarm goes off.

Anybody's else being affected by this thing? I heard some people died from this storm when it came up from the states.
