related but not directly on topic.... I would guess that most in C&V have seat posts with integrated clamps.
OP what bike are you putting the saddle on? would it be worth considering a new integrated seatpost, which IMHO is a much nicer solution?
and as always Pic of bikes are always appreciated even if not directly germaine to the thread subject.
