Yes, I guess it's called a National Recreation Area not technically a park. Funny to me because we used to hang out down there, camping, rafting, fishing and drinking beer on the rocks in the middle of the river during high school. The water is so cold in the "Hooch" that it would keep beer icy, and your ankles would literally ache while wading in it. I wonder if it has changed a lot since they made it into a park?

Roswell back then was considered a hick town, and all the local DJs would joke about it on the radio. We used to drive up to Roswell to buy sausage-and-biscuits from a local restaurant, long before you could buy them at Hardees, Bojangles and other fast-food joints.
