Reviving this thread as I have discovered a breakthrough for my particular kind of foot issues.

After years of discomfort, doctor visits, alternative medicines, orthotics, pain killers, the list goes on and on...I have discovered something that makes a real and measurable difference.

And it cost me only $7.99.

I suffer (soon to be past tense) from non-diabetic-related peripheral neuropathy in my feet. I have not re-read this thread so please forgive any repetitive info, but the causes were most likely due to excessive drinking for a long period of time (sober for three years this week), poor diet and poor walking habits. Sounds crazy, but I was walking wrong.

The way I describe it was like my foot was in a perpetual state of cramping, some days less extreme than others, but it was a daily issue. It became mnore than just the toes/foot, but the ankles and the calf as well. Sometimes riding the bike helped (also changed my pedal stroke when correcting my gait in the past year), sometimes it hurt. It has been the most difficult thing to diagnose.

On a freak accidental Google search, I came across something called Yoga Toes. These toe-spreading foot relaxers look like a cheap-o As Seen On TV product, but the reviews were pretty positive. As they are expensive, I opted for a cheaper alternative from Walgreens.

I am not exaggerating one iota when I say that after years upon years of foot numbness, burning/icing sensations and remedy after remedy failing to improve the discomfort, this worked, and it worked in spades.

My toes had come to a point where they were easy to move in a curling fashion, but any other direction just stopped happening. After 15 minutes (recommended by the manufacturer) of using the toe-spreader, I slept that night like I hadn't slept in years. I was so excited to feel dramatically improved circulation in my feet/ankles that I did it again the following morning. That was a week ago, and my feet continue to improve. I had not realized over the years that my feet were hindering my sleep.

It is a simple and inexpensive method to improve foot discomfort of my type. I hope this can help someone else with similar issues. I am actually awaiting word from my PT and chiro on exactly how this is working as nothing I have tried in the past has come close to this, let alone resulting in a discernible, consistent improvement.

Here is what I am using. Sent from heaven.
