The serial # on my SC reads 94000. Bought it new in the 90's (not exactly sure what year?) from a bike mechanic (the most anal mechanic you could ever meet) who had traveled to Italy & brought back a number of these frames. Knowing him, I'd imagine he purchased them for a song. With the sale, included was: chasing & facing the BB & headtube & he also had some of lines accented w/ silver paint where the paint meets the chrome. In all, a very nice bike...

Mine has vertical dropouts, is 59 cm c-c, & is SLX tubing. Even w/ the BB & headset installed it's quite light. I recently took it apart to rob the parts (C-Record) for another build & was contemplating putting it up for sale, but I keep vacillating back & forth on that. What I really like to do is repaint it pearl white & put old-style Cinelli decals on as replacements. The ride & stability is excellent, esp w/ Veloflex tubulars. The paint job, while it looks pretty, is somewhat fragile imo...!
