I just fixed a Helico freewheel that was loose. Used a couple of chain wrenches to remove the outer threaded 13T cog (turns counter-clockwise to loosen)... cleaned the threads carefully, reassembled carefully, and retightened. Functioning normally.
Just my opinion, but I wouldn't give up on that built wheel yet just because it has a Helico hub/freewheel, unless of course you are ready to make a change.
