first of all the LBS discounts the bike $500. then they let him take a test ride, set him up with accessories, offer to watch him ride in the parking lot and make adjustments. THEN they offer an additional 10% off on accessories after all the crying. so what if he has to make an appointment for fitting? is that really what this is all about?? i just don't understand what the LBS did wrong here...

Service is everything to alot of people. My LBS charged mte the price of a roubaix for my Eros. It should have easily been 200 less. The service, respect and treatment I got and get from them is why I purchased from them and why I would consider making future purchases from them. They let me spend a good couple of hours riding several different bikes. Made sure I took enough rights to make sure that I was positive of the narrowed down items and the narrowed down decision. Took the time to get me fitted and when I came back a week later because of some problems with foot hot spots, took the time to put me on a trainer that let me work on my form and see my power strokes.

I'm happy with them and recommed them to anybody I meet locally that is looking to purchase a bike.
