man that is really crappy. Earlire this summer that is the kinda of treatment I we got form the local Trek/Giant dealer here in Iowa City, Iowa. They gave a discount if you got two bikes at once.... my girlfriend and myself were looking to get some road bikes. She really liked a 1500 WSD... but we wanted to test rider some other bikes first. The next day we went back in the store to get two bikes... and they had sold the 1500 wsd in her size. The only thing that had was a higher model.... which was alright. She test rode it.. but we told them it was just a little more than we wanted to spend.. they said that was the best they could do (They were asking retail on that bike). So... we walked out the door! If they would have knocked a hundred bucks off of it... we would have prolly taken it... plus they had an attitude like they just didn't care. They lost about $3000 worth of business. So, we went down the street to another shop... (that we had visited teh day before) And she test road a Dolce Elite in her size.... I had already found a nice Allez Elite that I really liked there. We ended up getting them both. They gave us discounts on the purschase price of the bikes.... 5% of the total purchase price in FREE accessories... 10% off accessories for life, and two sets of shimano SPD moutain bike style pedals! They also took a great deal of time making sure the bikes were generally setup for us, and have been extremely helpful everytime we go in for adjustments or to buy new toys. We even ran into the guy who sold us our bikes on RAGBRAI and he bought us a couple beers! How's that for service! So.... if anyone in eastern Iowa needs a good lbs... stop in at Racquet Master Bike and Ski.

The point is... go to a place that makes you feel good... and that you are comfortable with. It will pay off in the long run.
