The axle deosn't need more consulting. It's visibly bent, and the solution is to replace it. Though it isn't absolutely necessary, axle replacement usually means the freewheel is removed, so that's a good opportunity to remove or replace the spoke protector.

Spoke protectors get a bad rap and are called "dork discs" by seasoned riders, and in fact, are not really necessary ---- if you maintain RD adjustments, and are attuned to any changes. However, for most, they can save you big time if the RD overshifts. They're like a kevlar vest, you hope never to need them, but they can save you big time.

As for the noise, it's hard to gauge over the net, because the pitch may be distorted, but I note that you have disc brakes, and I wonder if you're hearing a warped disc rubbing. Also it's of help diagnostically if you determine if the chirping, rubbing sound (not the clicks) happens both while pedaling and coasting, or only when coasting. If it's only while coasting, it's most likely dry freewheel bearings, amplified by a resonating spoke protector.

BTW- whether you do it yourself, or have a shop replace the axle, make sure the RD adjustments are rechecked, especially the limit screw adjustments.
