Can I get the comfort out of CAAD 10 5 that I would out of a Synapse 5?

I am a recreational rider and have been seeing great things from all the fan boys about the CAAD 10 5 and was dead set on getting one. However the more research I do I start to lean toward the Synapse 5 due to comfort. I'm not racing and don't plan on racing. I was wondering if I can get the CAAD to be as comfortable as the Synapse or should I just go with the Synapse. The issue is that most LBS's don't carry 61 or 63cm bikes in stock so test driving is difficult. I also don't want to get the Synapse and regret wasting my money when I could have gotten the CAAD. I'm also almost 40 so I'm no spring chicken either, not that, that matters. Help!
