Rode a quick 6 miles tonight to give myself permission to drink beer. Felt Really Quick (for me) because of cadence, i went down to 44x17 at y'alls' suggestion. I've done faster on a 44x16 for longer, but: my legs aren't smoked afterward. I love looking at my speeds on mapmyride (yes, i know their speed calc is a little off) but i climbed a short steep hill seated (hey two months ago i had to stand for the whole thing) at a decent cadence then gave myself a break to recover... 4 mph slower on flat ground at the top than the hill.
