I bought a used AMC bicycle that needed to be restored. After restoring it I planned to give it to my brother, 6'4'', for his birthday. Some older bikes use an odd diameter seat post. I ended up ordering a peice of bar stock to use as a taller than original seat post.

The stock worked, an the bike looked really good with new paint etc. now if only he would ride it more...
