I get razed in the summer when I commute to work. I live in central Wisconsin in a smallish city. I work in a manufacturing facility with 1500 employees, hundreds of which work in the office. Only one other person bike commutes to work in the offices. He is from Germany and everyone gives him a free pass. I get smart ass comments all the time, especially in the colder weather when I wear full length kit. Funny thing is, I have 5 cars, all of which have been hot rodded in some manner. I don't get any flack for that, but OOOOOHHHH I spent $ on new bike parts I am wasting money. Society in general is messed up when it comes to attitudes towards cycling.
