I get smart ass comments all the time, especially in the colder weather when I wear full length kit. Funny thing is, I have 5 cars, all of which have been hot rodded in some manner. I don't get any flack for that, but OOOOOHHHH I spent $ on new bike parts I am wasting money. Society in general is messed up when it comes to attitudes towards cycling.
Nothing wrong with owning a few cars and its great to see that you still bike to work. You can only use one car at a time anyway. But I believe the problem in this country is way too many cars "on the road" at any given time and mostly have 1 person in each. Your right about this society. Notice how some of us get referred to as: "that bike guy" We are so rare, its a shame.
