I was refused boarding on a flight from Richmond, VA to Charlotte, NC because of the condition of my NC driver's license...fortunately I had my passport with me.

In the cases of selling booze they can refuse to sell to anybody regardless of ID in most cases. I don't remember the last time I was "carded" for alcohol. Must be getting old
