Weigh it without the wheels - you might be surprised at how much they weigh. My bike prolly weighs about that much without the load which adds another 10lbs (not to mention my fat arse). I just look at it as "that which will buff me up". Though I may switch to a lighter bike with multiple gears in the cold months.
